Sonia!

Here are a few shots of Sonia. We can't get over the fact that she is already three weeks old. It has all gone by so quick! We threw in a picture of Nadia at 3 weeks just so you can see how similar her and Sonia really are.

And last but not least, you can really see how difficult blogging, or pretty much anything, has become.

Let Me Out!

Spring is here...for the most part. Nana and Papaw relieved us of Nadia duty on Friday night so that we could "rest". Of course, Sonia wasn't in on that plan, so she spent all of EARLY Saturday morning crying in discomfort. So much for rest!

As you can see from the pictures, Nadia was able to go outside, play, and feed the geese up in Kokomo. She always enjoys her weekend sleepovers and we are so grateful for them.

Easter 2008

The photos say it all but we want to point out that Nadia's beautiful Easter dress was made by her Oma.

We're a little behind in the blogging, we'll try to catch up this week. Hope everyone had a Happy Easter.

Abuelo and Aunt Brea Arrive

Abuelo and Aunt Brea arrived on Wednesday to see the girls. So the Ward's and the Perez's have been hanging out the past few days entertaining Nadia (in reality Nadia has been entertaining everyone else) and holding our "Little Peanut," Sonia.

Family Outing

It was a beautiful day on Thursday, I had cabin fever and the new sit 'n' stand stroller had not been tested so my sister, Nana, Papaw, myself and the girls went for a stroll.

The Kueblers' Stop By

Mike, Kari and Eli came by last weekend to meet little Sonia. Eli was sweet enough to bring Nadia a framed photo of himself to ensure that he isn't forgotten during the next couple of months. Don't worry Eli, Nadia hasn't stopped talking about you.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today the Moms Club had a little St. Patrick's Day party so I dressed the girls in green, picked up a green snack to take and headed off with Oma so that Nadia could have a little playtime with her friends.

Forest Park Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday morning Oma, Titi Gigi, Nadia, Sonia, and I ventured out to a local park for an Easter Egg Hunt. Nadia seemed to have a good time and got to see her friends Carson and Camden. Nadia didn't really like the Easter Bunny and shed a few tears but Sonia just slept through her photo.

Helping Friends and Family

Oma and Titi Gigi have arrived to visit and help out. With all the visitors/help that has been around the past week, Nadia and myself have a very false sense of what life will truly be like when all the excitement dies down and we're left alone while Papi works...just the three of us. However, we're not going to worry about that for now but enjoy this time and give thanks for being blessed with loving/giving family and friends. Speaking of friends, the Prather's came by with a meal for all of us and gifts for Sonia and Nadia. A BIG thanks to them for that. Also, a BIG thanks to Nana and Papaw who came by a couple of days and brought gifts and meals also.

Our Changing Family

With Sonia's arrival, Jose and I are focused on making sure that each child receives plenty of one-on-one attention. Just 5 days after Sonia was born, Jose and I took Nadia to the Bounce Zone for some play time with Papi. Jose is even learning a few multi-tasking skills.

So things are very different around the Perez household. Nadia is now a big sister, which is weird considering she's only 20 months old. However, she's a very loving big sister. In fact, she doesn't care much about Mami anymore, just the baby. Nadia loves to give a thousand kisses and even helps out with getting the wipes and diapers when it's time to change Sonia. Nadia also never stops asking to hold Sonia.
