Papaw was kind enough to help us take down a couple of dead/dying trees that we have at our house. Lucky for us he knows what he is doing and everything got done without incident. Thanks again!

Euchre & Movies

The Prather's came over last Saturday to hang out. It was great because the kids are old enough to play and let us talk. When it passed their bedtime, we just put in a movie, made margaritas and played cards.

Today the girls and I dressed in green and headed to downtown Indianapolis to meet up with our friends Missy and Bella to watch the St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was an unusually perfect day for a parade in March...70 degrees and sunny. We also took a walk along the canal, which was dyed green for the holiday. You can kind of see it in the first photo but it really doesn't capture just how bright, fluorescent green the water looked. It looks as though it would glow in the dark.

Spring Weather

We had a bump in the mercury over the weekend that brought spring fever along with it. It got up to 70 deg during Sonia's party and lasted through Monday. Here are some more pics from the outdoor enjoyment.

Maybe we can train Nadia to take care of mowing by this summer...

Well Visit

Sonia went yesterday for her 1 year well visit. Here are the stats.

Height 28.75 in - exactly like Nadia...crazy

Weight 20.0 lbs - a whopping 2.25 more than big sis

Apparently she also has a large head. She must get it from Jose...

Bye Bye Family...

After a fun-filled weekend, it was time to say goodbye to our out-of-towners. It was great to have them here visiting and getting to hang out with all 3 girls. Until next time...

It's a Family Affair

In preparation for Sonia's 1st yr anniversary, we have family flying in from all over the US. (Boston, Florida and Seattle to be more exact.) Friday afternoon the Perez clan arrived. We were able to hang out a bit and let Beatrice, Nadia and Sonia bond over Yo Gabba Gabba! toys and some piano mashing. Even the Beast made the visit with Geraldine. Tommorow Breanne and the Wards will join us in celebrating.

Happy Birthday Morgan

We spent the day in Cincinnati celebrating Morgan's first birthday. One year already! We had a great time and can't wait until next weekend to do the same for Sonia.
