...and then there were four

Sonia Marie arrived last night, 3.8.08, at 10:53 pm after another quick labor for Tatum. Sonia's official stats are 20.5 inches and 7lbs 8oz. Similar to Nadia's arrival, the water broke while sitting on the couch. So we called the Dr., and she told us to wait it out until Tatum felt strong contractions. It was only 4:00 at the time and since Nadia was already staying with Nana & Papaw in Kokomo, we tried to squeeze in a movie before we went to the hospital. About halfway through Michael Clayton, the pain arrived, so we booked it to the hospital. Tatum was checked in around 7:30, around 9:30 when she was dilated to 7 the epidural was administered, and the final push was less than 90 minutes later. After a quick rubdown and some cleaning by the Riverview staff, we realized the we had a Nadia 2.0 on our hands. We joked that Sonia looked like Nadia, but when we looked at some old photos we really noticed how similar they were.

Tatum is doing great, recovery for her is smoother than it was last time. Thanks to everybody's well wishes and we look forward to seeing many of you in the coming weeks.
