The Silly Putty Incident
I think that the title says it all... but the video and photographic evidence make it that much better. This happened to us in the middle of a 10 hour drive back home and it detoured us in the middle of nowhere in Pennsylvania on a 90 plus degree day. This incident was both frustrating and hilarious as Tatum and I could not stop laughing, even as the girls were upset. I am positive that we will be talking about this with the girls the rest of their lives...

As you can see, Nadia is in some pain from trying to pull the silly putty out of her ponytail. Sonia though...I don't think that she cared that much. So after trying baby oil, hand sanitizer and water, the only remedy was a pair of scissors. End product:
There is nothing in this photo to reference size, but the wad on the left (Nadia's) was about the size of a golfball. Needless to say, there will be no more Silly Putty in this household for the next few years...
